Strokes of Life: The Art of Chen Chong Swee

Worked on the bilingual exhibition catalogue for National Gallery Singapore’s retrospective exhibition on Chen Chong Swee’s (b. 6 November 1910, Chenghai County, Guangdong Province, China—d. 15 February 1985, Singapore) six decade-long career. The exhibition was on display at the Gallery’s City Hall Wing, Level 4 Gallery, from 24 March 2017 to 20 May 2018. The publication features gorgeous full-colour image plates of his works, newly commissioned essays and a biographical timeline of the artist.
